The art of decoration on garments with color is a very old technique, going way back in time. The first technique was Shibori, a japanesse treatment in which we dye the textile with the help of threads and knots dipped into color. Through the ages we found a lot of ways to decorate our clothing.
The art of garment dye has to do with the dyeing of a garment after the textile is cut and sewn. In contrast with the procedure we use in the majority of the garments.
The results are more than rewarding, a differnciation in color’s deepness, way brighter on surfaces like stitching and foldings and way more darker on clear surfaces. This gives us the look of a color taking the shape of the garment making every piece unique.
Here in Royal Denim as a brand connected with clothing treatments, has a “tied relationship” with garment dye technique taking advantage of the capability to create our own colors and dye our garments with them.
